How to use Por and Para?
Students often confuse where to use prepositions Por and Para.

Uses of Por:

- Estudié por dos horas.
(I studied for two hours.)
📒 Reason or motive:
- Lo hice por ella.
(I did it for her.)
📒 Movement through or along:
- Caminamos por el bosque.
(We walked through the forest.)
📒 Exchange or substitution:
- Pagué diez dólares por el libro.
(I paid ten dollars for the book.)
📒 Means of transportation:
- Viajamos por avión.
(We traveled by plane.)
📒 Frequency:
- Voy al gimnasio tres veces por semana.
(I go to the gym thrice a week)
📒 Mode of communication:
- Te llamaré por teléfono.
(I will call you by phone.)
